J.B. Hill

J.B. Hill, age 82, of Miller, Missouri, passed away at 1:28 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018, at his home. He was born October 13, 1935, in Lawrence County, Missouri, the son of Hugh “Lawson” White Hill II and Noma Dell (Johnson) Hill.
J.B. was a 1953 graduate of Miller High School and was a farmer and a member of the Miller Lions Club and on the board of the Shiloh Church.
On October 22, 1956 he married Donna Lee Boothe at the College Hill Baptist Church in Wichita, Kansas. She preceded him in death on December 17, 1987.
J.B. is survived by his brother, Brad Hill of Lockwood, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Hill of Springfield, Missouri; one grandson, Scott Hill of Miller; granddaughter, Stephanie Lewis and her husband, Jon of Miller; five great-grandchildren, Sydnee, Shaelyn, McKenzie, Jadon and Gavin and several nephews.
His parents, Lawson and Noma, wife, Donna and two sons, Hugh Lawson White Hill III and Lewis Wesley Hill preceded him in death.
A funeral service, under the direction of the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller was held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at the Round Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow at the Shiloh Cemetery.
