Jeanette Maxwell

Jeanette Maxwell, 78, of Monett, passed away on Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, while at her home, following a decline in health.
 
Maxwell was born on May 12, 1947, in Monett, daughter of the late Raymond and Cecilia (Golubski) Witt. She was a graduate of Wheaton High School and retired from Schreiber Foods in Monett. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Pulaskifield. Her true joy came from the time spent with her beloved grandchildren and family.  
              
She will be lovingly remembered by one son, Brian Maxwell of Shell Knob; three grandsons; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Witt and wife Cindy of Pierce City, and Tom Witt and wife Mary Ann of Purdy; and a host of extended family and friends.
 
The family will hold a private burial at a later date, in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Pulaskifield. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
