Jerry Russell Cornelius

Jerry Russell Cornelius, age 75, of Marionville, Missouri, passed away at 2:42 a.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at his home. He was born December 21,1945, in Fairfield, Iowa, the son of Johnny and Florence (Haynes) Cornelius.
Jerry was a 1964 graduate of Fairfield High School in Fairfield, Iowa and worked for Alpine Wood Products in Marionville. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 3948 in Aurora, Missouri. He enjoyed fishing, racing, being outdoors and was a member of the NRA.
On May 28, 1998, he married Vicki Neill in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 23 years, Vicki; one son, Josh Cornelius and his wife, Jerrica, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; two grandsons, Waylan, and Roman Cornelius; special cousin-in-law, Debbie Owens of Marionville; sister-in-law, Debbie Cornelius of Fairfield, Iowa and brother-in-law, Eddie Holmer, of Tannersville, Pennsylvania.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny, and Florence; one sister, Judy Holmer and one brother, Mike Cornelius.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, was held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora. Visitation was held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021, in the funeral home chapel.
