Jerry Wayne McGuire

Jerry Wayne McGuire, Greenfield, passed away Aug. 10, 2021. 

He was born Nov. 22, 1940 to Clyde and Juanita (Blevins) McGuire in Greenfield. After graduating from Greenfield High School, he served in the Army for four years. He worked for Genesco, Inc. over 25 years. McGuire moved to Greenfield where he was a cattle rancher for almost 30 years. That’s where he married his wife Claudia on Nov. 12, 1994. McGuire served as Deacon at Mount Olive Church. 


He is survived by his wife Claudia McGuire; sister Carol Saavedra; brother Rick McGuire; stepchildren Darin & Marcela Allen, Lori & Gary Carter, and Fran Allen; and eight grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Juanita McGuire.

Graveside funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, at at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Donations may be made to Mount Olive Church, c/o Patricia Kreissler, treasurer, 88 E. Dade 54, Greenfield, MO 65661. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
