Jess Matthew Davis

Jess Matthew Davis, 50, of Marionville passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021, at his home.  He was born Feb. 2, 1971, in Springfield, the son of David and Ruby (Presley) Davis.
Davis was a 1989 graduate of Marionville High School and served in the United States Army during the Persian Gulf Era.  He was a self-employed electrician and of the Catholic Faith.
Davis is survived by his mother, Ruby Davis of Marionville; two daughters, Cassandra Lagers (Jacob), of Seneca, and Jessica Rickman (Charlie), of Crane; six grandchildren; five nieces and nephews,
Davis was preceded in death by his father, David Davis.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at the Williams Funeral Home, in Marionville.  Burial will follow at the Marionville IOOF Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, in the funeral home chapel.
