Jessie Dean Swadley

Jessie Dean Swadley, 70, of Aurora, passed away Aug. 1, 2020, at his daughter’s home. He was born Jan. 3, 1950, in Aurora, to Oneas Andrew and Lenna Doris (Boyd) Swadley.
Swadley was a 1968 graduate of Aurora High School. He worked for MWM Dexter in Aurora for 28 years and then helped start Ozark Printing Company in Ozark. In 2000, he married Vicki Bowman Miller in Eureka Springs, Ark.
Swadley is survived by: his wife of 20 years, Vicki; daughters, Sally (Brandon) Kieffer of Pierce City and Amanda (Alan) Litchy of Springfield; sons, Russell Swadley of Monett,  James Swadley and Matt (Sara) Swadley and Rick (Chantil) Miller, all of Aurora; sisters, Sue (Oris) Brisco of Berryville, Ark. and Ola Mae (Carl) Richardson of Elkins, Ark.; brothers, Gene (Ailene) Swadley of Cassville, David Swadley of Exeter, Steve (Linda) Swadley, of Aurora, Joe Swadley of Olathe, Kan., Robert and Mark Swadley of Aurora; 14 grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers.
A graveside service was held Aug. 9, 2020, at the Leann Cemetery south of Aurora.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora.
