Joe Arnol Gardner

Joe Arnol Gardner, 90, of Aurora, passed away July 5, 2021, at the Mercy Hospital in Aurora.  He was born Dec. 17, 1930, in Barry County the son of Efton and Sadie (Hilton) Gardner
Gardner was a 1948 graduate of Crane High School in Crane. He was a cattle farmer, worked at Dayco, was a truck driver and worked in security for Zenith TV in Springfield. He was a member of the Southern Missionary Baptist Church.
On Dec. 12, 1951, he married Lois Wells, in Harrison, Ark. She preceded him in death on April 8, 2021.
Gardner is survived by his daughter, Pamela (Curtis) Hanawalt and one grandson and several nieces and nephews. Gardner was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
A graveside service under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora was held July 8, 2021, at the Osa Cemetery southeast of Aurora.
Memorials may be made payable to the Good Shepherd Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
