John Meridith House

John Meridith House, Jr., 60, of Lockwood passed away Nov. 26, 2020, at the Willard Care Center in Willard. He was born Aug. 28, 1960, in St. Louis the son of John Meridith and Doris Lee (Gromer) House, Sr.  
He worked as a journeyman plumber in Texas, before moving to Missouri.
On Aug. 28, 1995, he married Carol Ann Steffen in Lockwood.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years; children, Sherry (David) Hull of Lockwood; Charles (Brenda) Delaney of Stockton. Jaime (Darrell) Delaney-Stevens of Walnut, Iowa; Renae (Pat) Griffin of Omaha, Neb.; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; step dad, James Morton, of Red Oak, Texas; brothers, Kenny House, Doug Morton and Eddie House and sisters, Ruth Knight, Pam Davis and Jolee Morton, all of Texas and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Betty Parham; sister, Darla Odell; and stepmom, Judy Morton.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
