Joyce Darlene Davidson

Joyce Darlene Davidson, 89, of Verona passed away Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. She was born March 27, 1933, in Tyrone the daughter of Paul and Ida (Lay) McKinney.
On Jan. 24, 1958, she married Harold Loyd Davidson in Las Cruces, N.M. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2013.
She worked in security for the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport before moving back to Missouri in 1983.
She is survived by her four children, Ricky McKinney of Peoria, Ill., Rodney Davidson of Verona, Denise Ridenour (Keith), of Purdy and Connie Birge (Rick), of Aurora; two brothers, Bobby McKinney (Lucy) of Decatur, Ill. and Danny McKinney (Sally) of Peoria, Ill.; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul, and Ida McKinney; husband, Harold Davidson; grandson, Dylan Davidson; sister, Virginia James and two brothers, Darrel, and Dewayne McKinney.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora.
