Joyce Evelyn Cooper

Joyce Evelyn Cooper, 84, of Miller passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. She was born Sept. 1, 1937, in Oklahoma City, Okla., the daughter of Roger and Maxine (Clark) Brown.
She was a 1955 graduate of Joplin High School, in Joplin and was a homemaker.
On June 3, 1955, she married Alwin Frank Cooper, Jr. in Joplin. He preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 2011.
Cooper is survived by her daughter, Sara Cooper of Miller; one son, Richard Cooper of San Jose, Calif.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Maxine; husband, Alwin and one brother, Roger Brown, Jr.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller.
