Joyce Priest

Joyce  Priest, 90, of Payette, Idaho, formerly of Stotts City for over 60 years, passed away April 17, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Payette, Idaho. She was born in Stotts City Dec. 12, 1930; daughter of Fred and Beulah (Graham) Garoutte. She was married to Alton Priest May 15, 1959 in Idaho. She was a homemaker and farmer for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stotts City.
Survivors include daughters, Karen (Terry) Morrison of Payette, Idaho, Penny Longstreet of Meridian, Idaho, and Linda (Jim) Riddle of Summerville, S.C.; brothers, Emery (Darlene) Garoutte of Diamond and William (Helen) Garoutte of Stotts City; sister, Kay White of Greenfield; 12 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alton Priest; son, Keith Reitz and a son-in-law, Tom Longstreet.
The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church, Stotts City on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 1-2 p.m. Services will be at First Baptist Church, Stotts City on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
