Judith Faye “Judy” Lee

Judith Faye “Judy” Lee, 78, of Monett, passed away June 29, 2020 at Aurora Nursing Center in Aurora.
She was born Oct. 25, 1941 in Ava, daughter of the late Lev and Mildred (Burke) Crumley. She graduated from Ava High School with the class of 1958. She was an Army wife traveling the states, then a full-time mother. She was the main music buyer for House of Sound in Springfield before beginning her 30-year career as a legal secretary working for Charles Moon and Linda Thomas Law Offices. She had attended the First United Methodist Church after moving to Monett.
She is survived by: daughter, Mindy (Kevin) Crossland of Kimberling City; daughter-in-law, Julie Lee, of Monett; brother, Rick (Joyce) Crumley of Springfield; one grandson of Nixa; three granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; along with many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by: son, Matt Lee; as well as one great-granddaughter, Bristol Faye Blair.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. July 10, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church in Monett. The family requests that memorials be made to Habitat for Humanity in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
