Justin L. Bowles

Justin L. Bowles, 52, Carthage passed away July 8, 2021, at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin following a short illness. Bowles was born March 5, 1969, in Fort Scott, Kan., the son of Larry Bowles and Marilyn (Foster) Bowles. He was a 1987 graduate of Bronaugh High School, Bronaugh. Bowles married the love of his life, Jodi, on Sept. 11, 2004, in Eureka Springs, Ark. He worked on the road crew for the Jasper County Highway Department and was a farmer and truck driver for many years.
Survivors include his wife and his mother, Marilyn Yazel. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Bowles; his second father, Richard Yazel and his grandparents, Calvin and Wilma Foster.
Per his wishes, there was cremation. Memorials are suggested to American Red Cross in care of Knell Mortuary. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Knell Mortuary.
