Kayren D. Bremer

Kayren D. Bremer, 83, of Monett, passed away Nov.12, 2020 in her home after a lengthy illness.
Bremer was born Feb. 1, 1937, in Monett, the daughter of Ralph K. and Beryl (Cline) Kelly. She graduated from Monett High School 1955. She along with her husband Kenny owned and operated Bremer Machine Shop and Dirt Works in Monett for many years. She was a member of the church of Christ in Mt. Vernon. She was a member of the Monett Jaycee Wives, Barry County Youth Camp Committee, Barry-Lawrence County Development Center Board, Monett Historical Society and Past President of Monett Band Booster’s.
On Aug. 2, 1958, she married Kenneth Bremer, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 2005.
She is survived by son, Kelly (Tia) Bremer of Monett; daughter, Kamilla (Bill) Willis of Monett; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Angela Lou McKechnie.
Funeral services were held Nov. 16, 2020 at Buchanan Funeral Home. Interment followed at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monett. Visitation was Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Barry County Youth Camp, Monett Historical Society or Barry-Lawrence Development Center in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
