Kenneth “Kenny” Gardner

Kenneth “Kenny” Gardner, 82, passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather and a loyal friend. Born in Marionville, he was the beloved son of Franklin and Jewel Gardner.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, J.R. Gardner and Brandi Gardner, and their son; his daughter Susan Parker and her husband Michael Parker; their daughter Tara Beard and her husband Troy Beard, and their daughters; and his daughter Julie O’Leary and her husband Austin O’Leary; along with many extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Jewel Gardner.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. Military Honors will be held at 5 p.m., and the visitation will follow from 5:15 p.m. to 7 p.m.
