Larry Dale Shoemaker

Larry Dale Shoemaker, 60, of Aurora passed away Monday, May 2, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born Sept. 17, 1961, in Springfield the son of Leonard Dale Shoemaker and Corenia R. Maples.
He was a United States Army veteran and worked for Roadway Trucking Company.
On Jan. 15, 2000, he married Kimberly Malcom, in Mt. Vernon.
Shoemaker is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kim; two sons, Joshua Shoemaker (Sarah), and Austin Shoemaker (Morgan); four daughters, Shaynna Cooper (Jacob), Nichole Helling, Stacey Floyd and Chrystal Shiveley; two brothers, Thomas Haynes and Gary Shoemaker; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Shoemaker; his mother, Corenia Webb and one grandson, Jordan Trey Floyd.
A visitation was held from 1-2 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2022, at the Williams Funeral Home in Marionville, with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed at the Marionville IOOF Cemetery
