Leona Maxin Childress

Leona Maxin “Max” Childress passed away peace- fully, at home, on September 3rd, 2021.
She was 73 years of age, born April 16, 1948 to Caude & VirgieJones. She grew up in Cape Fair Missouri and received her education in Reed Springs, Missouri.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, one son, one step daughter, two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Childress, of the home. Her son, Kerry Stultz and her daughter Marsha Perryman. Also surviving, stepson, Greg Childress of Pierce City, MO. Three stepdaughters, Teresa Wilson of Duncan, Oklahoma, Debbie Haglwood of Republic, MO and Tammy Reed of Sarcoxie, MO. Two sisters Pauline Maudy of Cape Fair, Mo. and Pat Chastien of Eurika Springs, Ar- kanas. Not to be left out, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren! She loved her grandchildren and always made sure holidays and birthdays were wonderful. Max had a smile that could light up a Christmas tree and a laugh that was infectious! She was loved and will greatly be missed by ALL that knew her.
