LINDA SUE GUTHRIE

Linda Sue Guthrie, 82, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, died on March 17, 2025. Linda was born in Aurora, Missouri on August 4, 1942; the daughter of Harold and Maxine Cossman.
Linda truly cherished the nearly 10 years she was not in the workforce while she raised her three children, until the youngest started kindergarten. She spent much of her life working in administrative roles at the Aurora Bank and Wilks Lumber Company in Aurora, Missouri and Walmart Inc. in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was a wonderful and devoted, wife, mother, and caregiver.
Linda thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, supporting them by attending and rooting for them at their musical and sporting events. Even though she had no athletic abilities, she enjoyed, rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Arkansas Razorback football and basketball teams. She did enjoy playing golf and watching the televised PGA tournaments. She also was a wonderful cook and passed many cherished recipes to her family.
She dearly loved her family and is survived by her brother, Bob Cossman (Peggy) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sons, Rick Johnson (Susan) of Garfield, Arkansas and Rusty Johnson of Owasso, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; five great-grandsons; step-daughter, Ann Applebee (Rob) of Palmer, Alaska; Jim Guthrie (Olivia) of Springfield, Missouri and seven step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Guthrie; a daughter, Suellen Johnson and a stepson, Steve Guthrie.
A family graveside service will be held on April 5, at the Spring River Cemetery in Verona, Missouri.
Sisco Funeral Home, Pea Ridge, AR is in charge of arrangements.
