Loren Neal Hill

Loren Neal Hill, 96, of Aurora, passed away April 11, 2020, at his home. He was born Dec. 22, 1923, in Aurora, to Arthur and Laurel (Haffa) Hill.
Hill was a 1942 graduate of Aurora High School and was a United States Army veteran serving during World War II. He worked for Southwest Manufacturing in the engineering department. In 1947, he married Ruby Lucille Lawrence in Marionville. She preceded him in death in 2009.
Hill is survived by: his in-laws and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Laurel; wife, Ruby; sons, Michael and Gregory Hill; brother, Wilmer Hill; and sister, Virginia Tharp.
In light of the concerns and restrictions placed on group gatherings due to COVID-19, there will be a private family graveside service at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora.
