Lorene Frances Pierce

Lorene Frances Pierce, 94, of Pulaskifield passed away Oct. 7. The child of Joseph and Frances (Younker) Rosewicz was born on Sept. 25, 1926 on the family farm south of Pulaskifield.
She married James Edward Pierce in 1953 in the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Pulaskifield. They lived in Kansas for 34 years and back to Missouri for 33 years.
She was preceded in death by sons, Jim (Pam) Pierce of El Dorado, Kan. and Joe (Mary) Pierce of Wichita, Kan.; sister-in-law, Bernice Rosewicz of Kansas City, Kan.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Visitation was held Oct.  10 at the Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City. Graveside services followed at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery in Pulaskifield. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
