Lula Mae Crouch

Lula Mae Crouch, 87, of Verona, passed away April 12, 2020, at the Bentonview Park Health and Rehabilitation Center in Monett. She was born Dec. 17, 1932, in Springfield to Marion Arvey and Lela Faye (McCullah) Burbridge.
She was a 1950 graduate of Aurora High School and was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. In 1952, she married Carl Edward Crouch, in Huntsville, Ark. He preceded her in death in 1996.
She is survived by: son, Gary L. (Deborah) Crouch of Dyersburg, Tenn.;  daughter, Carla J. (Bob) Brown of Monett; brothers, Jerald Burbridge of Burlington, Iowa and Jim Burbridge of Aurora; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; sister, Norma Glensky; and brother, Kenneth Burbridge.
A funeral service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, was held April 15, 2020, at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church parking lot.  A private family burial followed at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
In light of the concerns and restrictions placed on group gatherings due to COVID-19, there will not be a formal visitation. A viewing was held April 14, 2020, in the funeral home chapel.
