Margaret Ann Holle

Margaret Ann Holle, 78, passed away April 7, 2020.
She was born on June 30, 1941, to Wilburn and Anna (Osterloh) McCord in Verona. She attended Trinity Lutheran School in Freistatt and then Verona High School, graduating as salutatorian in 1959, where she was a cheerleader and played the bass drum in the marching band. She attended Southwest Missouri State. She worked at Vaisey-Bristol Shoe Company (later Jumping Jacks) for 10 years. She later worked as the Monett City Collector for 25 years. She then became the secretary for Trinity Lutheran School working until her health required her to permanently retire in 2010. 
She co-founded the Barry-Lawrence County Development Center in 1974. She continued to serve on the center’s board until her death. She was also actively involved in Monett Lion’s Club, Barry-Lawrence County Youth Camp, Trinity Lutheran Church and School, and the Business and Professional Women’s Foundation.
She is survived by: her husband, Elly of the home; sister, Melba McCord of Monett; brother-in-law, Ervin Holle of Dallas, Texas; sister-in-law, Lora Worm of Monett; son, Kevin (Sheryl) Holle of Springfield; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; infant siblings, Onis and Helen Ann McCord; and daughter, Annette.
A private family graveside service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Freistatt. There will be a memorial service at a later date when gathering is permitted.
Memorials may be directed to the Barry-Lawrence County Development Center. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
