Martin Victor “Marty” Johnson

Martin Victor “Marty” Johnson, 61, of Sedan, Kan., formerly of Miller passed away Dec. 8, 2020, at his daughter’s home in Springfield. He was born Oct. 9, 1959, in St. Paul, Minn., the son of Robert Harold and Jean Ann (Lindstrom) Johnson.
He attended Miller High School and was a United States Army veteran. He worked as a diesel mechanic and spent many years driving across the country in an 18-wheeler.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca (Richard) Ballentine; son, Dustin (Brittany) Johnson; five grandchildren; brothers, Tom (Nigel) Johnson of Del Rio, Texas and Clifford “Jolly” Johnson of Ava; sisters, Maggie (Jim) Hadley, Kathy Bambery, Sally (Bob) Kennedy all of Sedan, Kan. and Ginger Harmon, of Bradleyville and several nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Johnson.
A visitation will be held from 11-12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec.19, 2020 at the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, in Miller with a graveside service to follow at 1 p.m. at the Miller Memorial Gardens in Miller.
