Mary Frances Fees Rodgers

Mary Frances Fees Rodgers was born Jan. 14, 1923, 98 years ago, to Ted and Fay Fees, near Halltown. She died at her home, Rogersville.
Rogers graduated from Roper High School and was a long time member of New Hope Church, both located in the community where she grew up.
She married Bert Rodgers, July 18, 1941 and they had three daughters, Georgia Ann, Joyce Faye, and Mary Lou. Her second marriage, Sept. 21, 1961 was to Ralph Rodgers and they had a son, R.H. Both husbands preceded her in death. Two daughters and seven siblings also preceded Mary in death.
Rogers is survived by a daughter, Joyce Kerr (Tom), of Springfield, and a son, R.H. Rodgers, of Rogersville  four grandsons; one granddaughter; one son-in-law; eight great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. A brother, Ira Fees of Republic,  and many adoring nieces and nephews.
Private burial next to her daughter, Georgia Ann, will be at Kerr Cemetery, Greene County.
Later, a memorial and tribute to her life will be shared with others.
In remembrance, a contribution in her name can be made to New Hope Church or Kerr Cemetery Perpetual Fund. Both places were very dear to her.
