Mary Frances Szydloski

Mary Frances Szydloski, 65, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, at her home in Pierce City. She was born in Monett on Saturday, Dec. 24, 1955; daughter of Frank Reno, Jr. and Irene (Jaster) Reno. She attended Catholic School in Springfield before transferring to Monett High School where she graduated in 1974. Szydloski married David Szydloski on Saturday, June 8, 1974, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Sarcoxie.
 Surviving are the following: her husband, David of Pierce City; one son, Sharrod Szydloski (Stephanie) of Greenfield; one granddaughter; one grandson; one great-grandson due in December; two sisters, Barbara Boursheski of Byron, Ga. and Pamela Beard of Melbourne, Fla.
 Szydloski was preceded in death by her Dad in 1964; her Mom in 2002; a daughter-in-law, Amy Szydloski in 2015; three brothers, Thomas Reno, Donald Reno, and Gary Reno; and three sisters, Elizabeth Reno, Linda Reno, and Margorie Holman.
 Prayer service and rosary was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021. Visitation followed until 8 p.m.
 Funeral Mass was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City beginning at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, 2021,  with Father Matt Rehrauer officiating.  Burial  followed at St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery in Sarcoxie. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
