Mary Jane Shepard

Mary Jane Shepard, 91, of Aurora, passed away Monday, Sept. 6, 2021, at her home. She was born Nov. 24, 1929, in Kirbyville, the daughter of Bill and Elsey (Morgan) Gregg.
Shepard was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
On Oct. 22, 1943, she married Henry Efton Shepard, in Reeds Spring. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1992.
Shepard is survived by her daughter, Delpha Rutledge (Jerry), of Springfield; two sons, Kenneth and William Shepard, both of Aurora; one daughter-in-law; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Shepard was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Elsey; husband, Henry and son, Bobby Shepard.
A celebration of life was held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021, at the Oakmont Community Center, State Hwy 86, Ridgedale. Burial was held at the Blue Eye Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora.
