MARY MARGARET MEDCALF
Mary Margaret Medcalf, 95, of Aurora, passed away Sept. 30, 2018, at the Sonshine Manor in Republic. She was born March 30, 1923, in Marlow, Okla. to James Robert and Hattie V. Qualls.
Medcalf was a 1941 graduate of Marlow High School. Medcalf and her husband were the owners of Medcalf Upholstery in Aurora and she was a member of the First Christian Church in Aurora. In 1939, she married John R. Medcalf in Duncan, Okla. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Medcalf is survived by: her daughter, Ann (Walt) Pettit of Republic; sons, Phil (Beckye) Metcalf of Battlefield and Danny (Lynda) Medcalf of Republic; sister, Dora Tweety of Albuquerque, N.M.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
