Maynard Timm

Maynard Timm, 79, of Mt. Vernon formerly of Denver, Colo. passed away May 19, 2022. Timm was born March 27, 1943, in Alexandria, Minn., to Fred and Allien (Angen) Timm. At age 9 his family moved to Littleton, Colo. He attended Denver Lutheran High School and graduated from Littleton High School in 1961.
After working for a machinist company, he went on to work in the heavy equipment industry for over 36 years as a parts specialist. He was a dedicated employee and always sought to do his best for his company and their customers. He retired in 2007.
In 1971 he married Grace Kleiboeker and shared over 51 years together. He was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
He was a member of the Colorado Walleye Association.  
Timm is survived by his wife, Grace Timm of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Julie (Tim) Mesaros of Littleton, Colo.; one son, Jonathan (Jennifer) Timm of Monticello, Ind.; four grandchildren; five nieces and nephews.
Timm was preceded in death by his father, Fred Timm; his mother, Allien Peterson; his brother, Darrell Timm and his niece, Donna Frerichs.
A visitation under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Home Fund or the Braille Ministry at Trinity, in care of the funeral home.
