Michael Golubski

Michael Golubski, 58, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022, at his home in San Diego, Calif. Golubski was born in Monett on Monday, March 4, 1963; the son of Harold and Vera (Holland) Golubski, Sr. He was married to Suzanne Moen on July 11, 1987, in San Diego, Calif.
Golubski served in the U.S. Navy through Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He was a self-employed boat engine mechanic. While in the Navy, Golubski earned the following: the Good Conduct Medal five times, Navy Achievement Medal three times, Humanitarian Service Medal, National Defense Services Medal, Joint Meritorious Service Award, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon four times, Expert Pistol Medal, and Enlisted Surface Warfare Insignia. Golubski attended Miramar College in San Diego. He was a member of the El Cajon Ford Bass Club.
Golubski is survived by the following: his wife, Suzanne of the home; three sons, Joshua (Kristi) Golubski of Exeter, Michael Virgil (Marcy) Golubski of El Cajon, Calif., and Richard (Stephanie) Golubski of San Diego Calif.; one daughter, Christina (Chris) Wegner of Seligman; two brothers, Leo (Tammy) Golubski of Pierce City and Harold Golubski, Jr. of Pierce City; one sister, Julia (Casey) Golubski-Patterson of Freistatt; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services, with Military Honors, and burial will be at Pierce City Cemetery in Pierce City beginning at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, with Father Matt Rehrauer officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
