The Cardinals are still looking to find their footing on the diamond after graduates Jeff Lung and Joel Kleeman left big holes for Miller. They came into last week 1-2 and have a 17-4 loss to Stockton and a 15-0 loss to Morrisville. However, the Cardinals looked to get back on the right foot with a 15-0 win last Tuesday against Greenfield. They continued action as they fell to a good New Covenant team, 7-5, on Friday.
The team moves to 2-3 on the year, but will be tested in a big way as they will see four good teams starting with state-ranked Fair Grove on Monday. They will travel to Ash Grove on Wednesday, before returning to Miller to take on Lockwood on Thursday. Their week will conclude Friday as they take on first year program Greenwood.
