Nawal S. Masri

Nawal S. Masri, 80, of Monett, passed away March 20, 2019, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
Masri was born Oct. 16, 1938, in Mosul, Iraq, to the late Salem and Hawa (Matee) Namik. Masri moved to the United States in 1959, and eventually retired to Florida after a career as a real estate agent.
Masri is survived by: sons, Zeid (Beth) Masri Washington, D.C. and Fares (Lauren) Masri; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers and one sisters; and numerous extended family and friends. Masri was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Masri’s wishes were to be cremated, with services at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
