Ned Allen Price

Ned Allen “Tarzan” Price, 64, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022, at his home. He was born April 5, 1957, in Kansas City, the son of Ned and Inola Nell (Burd) Price.
Price worked in construction and was a farmer.
On Dec. 8, 1990, he married Sheri Yvette Russell, in Eureka Springs, Ark. She preceded him in death on May 22, 2003.
Price is survived by his mother, Nell, of Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Heather Forrest (Scott), of St. Charles, and Desiree Price of Mt. Vernon; stepson, Brent Campbell of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Ed Price (Debby) of Holt, Fla.; two sisters, Janell Bradley (Greg), of Grove, Okla. and Karey Ellison (Robert), of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ned, wife, Sheri and sister, Janette Forester.
A graveside service was at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at the Moore Cemetery, west of Stotts City. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon.
Memorial donations may be made payable to the Shriners Children’s Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
