Norma June Gentry

Norma June Gentry, 87, of Monett passed away Sunday Nov. 7, 2021. She was born on Feb. 22, 1934 in Blue Eye, Ark.; the daughter of the late Charles and Lottie (Funk) Bailey. She was united in marriage in Harrison, Ark. on Feb. 29, 1984 to Dale Gentry; he survives.
She was a home maker and a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Monett.
Gentry is survived by her husband Dale of the home; one son: Danny Muench of Carthage, two sisters: Betty Burk of Springfield and Bonnie Ellis of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Lottie and her first husband William Muench in 1965.
Visitation for Gentry was held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 17, 2021 at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. on Thursday Nov. 18, 2021 at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
Memorial donations for Gentry may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
