Peggy (Cook) Meiklejohn

Peggy (Cook) Meiklejohn, age 89, of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away on May 13, 2020, at her home.  She was born November 6, 1930, the daughter of J.E. and Marie (Knox) Cook.
Peggy was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri and was a homemaker.
She married Don David Meiklejohn and he preceded her in death on January 15, 1992.
Peggy is survived by her two sons, David Meiklejohn and his wife, Susan, of Jacksonville, Florida and James Meiklejohn and his wife, Jen, of Seattle, Washington and one granddaughter, Kelsey Bowen.
A private family graveside service was held at the Ozark Prairie Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
