Phil Roy Medcalf

Phil Roy Medcalf, 79, of Battlefield, passed away July 14, 2020, at the Cox South Hospital in Springfield. He was born Dec. 25, 1940, in Duncan, Okla., to John Roy and Mary Margaret (Qualls) Medcalf. Medcalf was a 1958 graduate of Aurora High School in Aurora and was a United States Air Force veteran. He was the owner/operator of Medcalf Upholstery Shop in Aurora.
Medcalf is survived by: son, Greg Medcalf of Fair Grove; stepson, Scott Chism of Bolivar; stepdaughter, Gina Fender of Springfield; brother, Danny Medcalf of Republic; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Ann Pettit.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora.  Burial will be held at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
