Raymond “Raymie” Franklin Burlison

Raymond “Raymie” Franklin Burlison, 61, Blue Springs, passed away March 10, 2019. Burlison was born Aug. 2, 1959, to Raymond and Betty (Spratt) Burlison.
He was born and raised near Mt. Vernon, where he attended high school. He was a welder by trade and spent 30 years with KTTR in Liberty. He took great pride in his work and was very good at his job. In 1993 he married Synthia Bolien. Burlison was often found doing odd jobs and serving as the neighborhood handyman. He also enjoyed working on cars, namely his ’68 Barracuda.
Burlison is survived by: his wife of 25 years; son, Cody (Nikki) Watson; daughter, Shelby Burlison; siblings, Lance Burlison, Suzie Burlison, Donald Burlison, and Danny Burlison; four grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents.
