Rebecca Lynn “Becky” Manetzke

Rebecca Lynn “Becky” Manetzke, 59, of Springfield, passed away July 1, 2021, at her father’s home in Aurora.  She was born May 20, 1962, in Aurora, the daughter of Gerald Lawrence “Bud” and Mary Ann (Hutchison) Manetzke.
Manetzke was a 1981 graduate of Aurora High School in Aurora, and she received her Bachelor of Science and Master’s degrees from Southwest Missouri State in Springfield.  She received her Doctorate in Psychology from Forest Institute in Springfield. She worked for the state of Missouri as a Disability Determination Specialist.
Manetzke was with her partner Mary Connelly for 28 years and married for five years. She preceded her in death in November 2019.
Manetzke is survived by her father; sister, Theresa Manetzke, of Aurora; brother, Daniel Manetzke of Ocala, Fla.; stepson, Dustin Connelly of Springfield and stepdaughters, Tabra and Sonya Connelly both of Springfield.
Manetzke was preceded in death by her mother; her wife and brother, David Manetzke.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora.
