Rhonda Kay Adamson

Rhonda Kay Adamson, 48, of Monett, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
Adamson was born on Oct. 8, 1973 in Reno, Nev., daughter of Ronnie and Debbie (Keen) Stricklin. She graduated as valedictorian of the class of 1992 from Exeter High School. She then furthered her education at College of the Ozarks at Point Lookout. For over 14 years, she worked at Wal-Mart in Monett and most recently had worked as a manager at Subway.
She married Donald Daryle Adamson, Jr. on April 5, 1996 in Eureka Springs, Ark., and to this union, two children were born.
Adamson is survived by her husband Donald, of the home; her daughter, Brittany Leavitt (Bradley), of Monett; two grandchildren; her parents, Ronnie and Debbie Stricklin, of Cassville; one sister, Tammy Reidlinger (Bill), of Rogersville; her mother-in-law, Mary Lowe, of Monett; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by one son, Devin Maverick Adamson.
Memorial services for Adamson were at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022 at the Buchanan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wyatt Howerton officiating. The family received friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until service time on Monday. Memorial contributions can be made to Life 360 in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
