Riley Leo Wishon

Riley Leo Wishon, 93, of Marionville, passed away  Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, at his home. He was born Sept. 14, 1928, in Aurora, the son of Riley Wilson and Ida Faye (Parks) Wishon.
Wishon was a graduate of Aurora High School and worked for Juvenile Shoe Factory in Aurora.
On July 1, 1950, he married Nellie Marie Gardner, in Eureka Springs, Ark. She preceded him in death on March 4, 1997.
Wishon is survived by three daughters, Donna Gillespie (Jim), of Aurora, Sherry Ernest (Jim), of Aurora and Rebecca Webb (Joe), of Crane; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Sharon Wishon, and several nieces and nephews.
Wishon was preceded in death by his parents, Riley, and Ida; his wife, Nellie and four sisters and two brothers.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Williams Funeral Home, in Marionville, was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
