Robert Joseph Moody

Robert Joseph Moody, 76, of Monett passed away Sept. 23 while at his home in Monett. He was born in Pontiac, Mich. on Feb. 7, 1944; the son of the late Eugene and Aileen (Collins) Moody. He was united in marriage on Nov. 10, 1966 to Linda Bates; she survives.
He was the retired owner of Linda Lee’s Chicken Fixins in El Dorado Springs and was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War Era.
Moody is survived by: his wife; son, Adam (Seayonna) Moody of Springfield; daughter, Sherri (Mike) Thomas of Traverse City, Mich.; brother, Eugene Moody of Holly, Mich.; sisters, Marilyn Carmean of Waterford, Mich. and Deloris Nance of Sioux Saint Marie, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services are pending at this time and will be announced upon completion. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
