Robert Lee Stevenson

Robert Lee Stevenson, 81, Monett passed away Tuesday Sept. 28, 2021 while at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar. He was born in Beach Grove, Ark. on March 29, 1940; the son of the late George and Mildred (Brown) Stevenson. He was united in marriage on Sept. 20, 1964 in Winona to Sharon Mooney; she preceded him in death on Oct. 31, 2019.
He was retired from Civil Service having worked for the NOAA and was a retired United States Navy Veteran having served on the U.S.S. Haverfield.
Stevenson is survived by two sons: Robert Stevenson (Stacy) of Monett; and Michael Stevenson (Robert) of Kansas City; one brother: Jim Stevenson of Richmond, Virg.; two sisters: Clara Day of Rogersville,  and Maxine Elliot of Winona; one sister-in-law; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial visitation for Stevenson was held on Saturday Oct. 2, 2021 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
Memorial donations for Robert may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
