Ronald Lee Landoll

Ronald Lee Landoll, 85, passed away March 9, 2022. He passed away at his home in Monett after a short illness. He was born Aug. 27, 1936, to Leo and Clara Mae (Kutz) Landoll, in Pierce City.
He is survived by his eight children, Judy (Ed) Flehmer of Pierce City, Jane (Ross) Mattlage of Verona, Jean Fitzgerald of Fort Worth, Texas, Joyce (Dwayne) Woods of Springfield, Janice (Larry) Wolters of Billings, Juliana Barnes of Springfield, James (Tammy) Landoll of Pierce City, and Janell (Jim) Patton of Monett; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Willa Jean Landoll; his parents; his foster brother, Joe Taylor; and the mother of his children, Julia Anna Landoll Blevins.
Before his retirement, he was a brakeman for the Frisco Railroad, worked in range patrol at Camp Crowder, and was a farmer. He was a retired SSG in the Army National Guard, and served as Vice Rajah of the Joplin Shrine Club where he participated in their Oriental Band.  
Upon his wishes, he will be cremated. Burial will be at a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Pierce City. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
Donations may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital in care of Lakin Funeral Home.
