Roxanne L. McIntire

Roxanne L. McIntire, 83, of Purdy passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025 at her home.
She was born March 15, 1942 in Joliet, Ill. the daughter of Ray and Levitta (Heath) Lantz. In 1999 in Eureka Springs, Ark. she was united in marriage to Teddy McIntire, who survives. Also surviving are her sons, Jimmy McGee and wife Carla; Jeremy McIntire and wife Jacquelyn; and Larry McIntire and wife Cassie; sisters, Leilani Stumbo and Sherri Staponski and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her daughter, Sandie, and brother, Stanley.
She grew up and attended school in Joliet, Illinois. She was employed as a police officer in Joliet for several years from where she retired. She enjoyed wood carving, especially carving golf balls and crocheting, but most of all she loved her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
