Ruth Louise (Kisling) Smith

Ruth Louise (Kisling) Smith, 95, of Sarcoxie passed away May 18, 2021 in the comfort of her home.
Smith was born Nov. 5, 1925 in rural Sarcoxie to the union of the late John and Fern (Howell) Kisling. On June 8, 1946 she was united in marriage to Dale Leroy Smith, together they shared 63 years until his passing on Nov. 26, 2009. Smith was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband and brothers, Carl Kisling, Clarence Kisling and Junior Kisling.
Smith is survived by her children, Leroy (Treva) Smith of Sarcoxie, Deloris (John) Reynolds of Carthage and Brenda Youngblood of Diamond; sister, Ella Clark of Sarcoxie; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends.
Graveside services were held May 22, 2021 at Sarcoxie Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Housh-Goodwin Funeral, Sarcoxie.
