Stell Marie Pitts (Meyer)

Stella Marie Pitts (Meyer), 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 23, 2022. She was born May 11, 1937 to Emil and Edna Meyer in Mount Vernon, MO. She graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1955. She married Charles Pitts September 2, 1956. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by one brother, Charles Ray Meyer, one sister, Betty Ebert, and her daughter, Kathy Harrison.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Charles, Battlefield, MO. Her brother, Kenneth Meyer, Springfield, MO. Her son, Terry Pitts (Tammy) of Mount Vernon, MO, and her daughter, Lisa Hausman (fiance, Scott Morris) of Battlefield, MO. Ten grandchildren, Aaron, Christina, Thadius, Ian, Jordon, Heather, Terianne, Tatelyn, Alex, and Brandon. Ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, March 4, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home South. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 10:30 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her church home, Glory Road Community Church.
