Steven Ray Clutts

Steven Ray Clutts, 59, of Pierce City passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. He was born in La Jolla, Calif. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 1962; son of Ed and Katherine (Dalton) Clutts. He graduated from Carl Junction High School in 1980. Clutts married Susan Pruitt on Friday, June 26, 1987 in Joplin. He worked in quality control at Miracle Recreation.
Surviving are the following: his wife, Susan of Pierce City; two daughters, Lacy (Cliff) Christian of Gravette, Ark. and Stephanie (Ken) Tidwell of Pierce City; three grandchildren; his father, Ed Clutts of Toole, Utah; two brothers-in-law, Dave (Wanda) Pruitt of Pierce City and Charles (Lenore) Pruitt of Joplin; and many other nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Clutts was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Clutts; two brothers, Rick and Denny Clutts; and a sister-in-law, Laura Marsh.
A celebration of life service will be at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022 with Rev. Danny Sluder officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
Memorials may be made in Clutts’ memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
