Thomas Wayne Parnell

Thomas Wayne Parnell, age 71, of Miller, Missouri, passed away at 4:47 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at his home.  He was born July 27, 1948, in Calusa, California, the son of Leroy and Belva Kathleen (Arbuckle) Parnell Sr.
Tommy was a 1966 graduate of Miller High School and worked for Wilmoth Enterprises Inc. in Mt. Vernon over 46 years.  He also worked for Mid Am in Mt. Vernon and was a member of the New Home Baptist Church.
On November 16, 1973, he married Lisa Ladell Darby, in Miller.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lisa; four daughters, Angie Miller and her husband, Barry, of Franklin, Tennessee, Denise Parnell and Jasen French of Miller, Darcy Parnell and Dirk Woolridge of Springfield, Missouri and Caitlin Hunt-Parnell of Miller; one brother, Jimmie Parnell and his wife, Sue, of Miller; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Kathleen, daughter, Mindy Myers and brother, Lee Roy Parnell Jr.
A visitation was held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller with a funeral service that followed at 3:00 p.m.  Burial followed at the Miller Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made payable to the funeral home.
