Todd Dirk Struan Pratt

Todd Dirk Struan Pratt, 66, of Aurora passed away after a valiant fight from health complications on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born Sept. 27, 1955, in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Gerald Clarence and Marilyn LaRae (Smith) Pratt.
In March of 1969, he was awarded the Eagle Scout at the age of 13. He graduated high school in 1974 in Utah and from both Brigham Young University and the University of Utah, attaining a master’s degree. He did extensive overseas business throughout Asia before returning to the states and going into retail.
On May 8, 1989, in Taipei, Taiwan, he married Heather Hsu with whom he had a son, Dirk Todd Pratt. He also had a daughter, Melissa, from a previous marriage.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Heather;  son, Dirk Pratt;  daughter, Melissa Lexow, and her family; his parents, Gerald, and Marilyn; a brother, Rand, and four sisters, Michelle, Stephanie, Suzette, and Danielle.
A graveside service under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, was at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 15, 2022, at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
