Tyler Jacob Stow

Tyler Jacob Stow, 21,  Stotts City passed away on Monday, Sept. 6, 2021, in Mt. Vernon. He was born in Joplin on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999. Stow was the son of Matt and Donna (Howerton) Stow. He graduated from Pierce City High School in 2018 where he actively participated in band and Ag. Stow attended SRTC while in high school and participated in many competitions involving diesel mechanics. He competed at the state level in diesel mechanics where he placed third. In band, Stow played the saxophone.  He worked at O'Reilly's Automotive, milked cows, and most recently worked for Denali Water Solutions.
Surviving are the following: his mother, Donna Kay Stow of Stotts City; a sister, Kali Fenske of Neosho; paternal grandparents, John and Mary Stow of Wentworth; two special little girls of Mt. Vernon; an uncle, Andy Stow of Wentworth; a cousin, aunts, uncles, and many friends.
Stow was preceded in death by his father, Matt Stow on Aug. 11, 2016.
Stow has been cremated at his request. Memorial visitation will be held at Lakin Funeral Home at  12 p.m.-1:30p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, with graveside services and burial at 2 p.m. at Van Buren Cemetery near Wentworth. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
