Valerie L. Foreman

Valerie L. Foreman, 50, of Carl Junction, passed away Sept. 24, 2018, at Freeman West Hospital.
She was born July 24, 1968, in Monett, to James E. Denney and Alice Beatrice Meyers Denney.
Foreman worked as a pharmacy technician for several years in the Joplin area. She loved the outdoors, taking trips to the lake and the mountains and animals of all kinds. She married Ray Foreman in 1987; he survives.
Additional survivors include: her children, Shandi (David) Gilmore and Amanda (Jon) Reed; her parents; siblings, Craig Denney, Curtis Denney, Chris Denney, Scott Denney, Shannon King and Vicki Williams; four grandchildren; and several other extended family members and many friends.
Services were held Sept. 28, 2018, at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Graveside services followed at Arnhart Cemetery, east of Purdy. Memorials may be made to the Joplin Humane Society or to the American Cancer Society, both in care of Parker Mortuary. Arrangements were under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
